EyePet PSP Game Review:The Game that is Bad and Cute at the same time

What is Eyepet? Is it like Pokemon?

What is EyePet Game on the PSP all about? Like its PS3 Version, the PSP game lets you play, love and feed this cute little creature. The game comes with a card where your pet will appear. EyePet also requires a PSP camera for you to play with your fluffy pet.

The Gameplay

The Game works great on the PS3 version, but the Eyepet PSP Game there are some problems you have to deal with. Though the gameplay on the PSP Version is good but the problem about this was your PSP camera shouldnt have an unobstructed view of the magic card (the card with paw print.) It means you cant really play with your EyePet with your bare hands instead you use your PSP device to play with it. Because of this problems the game makes you not so close to your Eyepet.
Aww..Its so cute Im gonna die!

The augmented reality in the PSP has also some issues with the activities in the games like bowling, fishing, or jumping around on trampolines. Each of the said activities have different size playing area and your PSP Camera should be in the full view in order for you to play properly. The problem about these are the areas you need to play are much larger than the card that makes it so impossible for you to actually play with your Eyepet while your sitting on your office, school or kitchen table whether its in front of you or you wanted to play in on your lap. There are also cases that your EyePet doesn't respond well in the activities that you want your pet to do. How about the Load Times? The game has a very looong load times so patience is a virtue to play Eyepet on the PSP. But the game is not all about bad things, the EyePet on the PSP is still cute and still relieves stress after a long day work and thats not all you can feed, groom, and style your pet for full tank of cuteness.

The Verdict

EyePet PSP Game Version is not a pure bad game but it doesn't really works well like the PS3 Version. You can't interact fully with your EyePet and that part of the game is not cool. Despite of the gameplay problems and the loading time issues  that the game suffers. Its still nice that PSP Owners got the chance to experience EyePet PSP Game. If you're a big fan of tons of cuteness you'll love this game.

My Score
6/10-Fair
