A good Rhythm game tribute to the Great Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson The Experience on the PSP Game, lets you experience the music and moves of Michael Jackson. Featuring his greatest hits young and old players will dig this game tribute to the legend.

Gameplay and Features

The PSP Game features 17 of Michael Jackson's Greatest hit songs like, Billie Jean, Thriller, The Girl is mine, Heal the World and so much more. His songs is not the only featured in Michael Jackson The Experience but also the animated Michael who dance and got the steps perfectly which you can see while you play the game. You'll start the game with only three songs and you'll unlock the 14 more songs by collecting coins in the game. The Gameplay is just simple you'll only press the circle and the left button, press the right corresponding button that appears in the screen you'll earn points, coins, crowns and the star points for a multiplier score. There's also point in the game that Michael Jackson will do the spinner move that will also add to your score in the game. Theres also a "Collection" feature in the Game which you can see Michael's memorabilia. Its really nice to play with Michael Jackson's songs especially with one of my favorite songs, Beat It. Michael Jackson also changes his Costume in every song and the great thing about it was his costume also matches of what he wears in the particular song and music video, for example in the music video of smooth criminal he wears the mafia suit and its a great feature of the game. By the way the setting also change and matches depends on what song you play. If you play the song Remember the Time, the setting will be the Egyptian period. This features really add up and gives you more interest to play the game. And its great to see in the game that you'll be able to play the whole song! You can set aside the difficulty of this game since even if you play the game in hard mode a 7 year old kid could still play and finished it. Old and Young will surely love and appreciate the game tribute to Michael Jackson.

Now were going to the Game Downsides. I've noticed in the game has a repetitive gameplay, you have the Tour Mode where you'll be able to play with his 17 great songs. But doing the same thing in 17 songs is kind of tedious. Also since there's only 17 songs you could play with and I was hoping for more, I was hoping for Scream and Jam to be in this game but it wasn't on there. The lifeless Game environment also affects your gaming experience. There are also parts in the game that Michael does his Spinner move in some songs that doesn't needed a Spinner Move like Heal the World. And the lack of game modes  of this game also disappoints me.

The Verdict

Michael Jackson The Experience on the PSP Game is a good Rhythm game, old or new fans of his Music will love this game. Although the game has problems because of lack of songs to be played, the repetition of gameplay and the lack of game modes, fans of Michael adult or kid will still love this game. Behind its downsides is still find myself enjoying the game and singing with my favorite songs while I played it. I know new and old fans will still love it too behind of the game's downsides. Im still wishing that this game were more polished when it comes to features. Im a fan of his songs but as what I've said I cant say that this PSP Game Version to his tribute is perfect. If there is another game in the future tribute to the Great Music Icon Michael Jackson on the PSP I hope it will serve more to rhythm gamers and his fans.
