Shadow of Destiny is this game a Fail or Win?

Shadow of Destiny on the PSP Game is about a 21 Year Old Man named Eike Kusch who got killed by a mysterious killer and was given a second chance in life to change his Destiny by travelling through time. 

The Gameplay

Shadow of Destiny on the PSP is not your typical role playing game, there's NO zombie enemies, aliens, monsters and guns or any deadly weapons you can use to fight or defend yourself in this game. Your fighting against time here and a mysterious person who wants to kill you. Your only weapons in this PSP Game is your Z-Pad a device in the game that you can use to travel through time, the items you gain that is connected to the past and present, Eike's journal and your handy dandy map.

In the game you'll get stab many times in different scenarios by the mysterious killer and thats why you need your Z-Pad in this PSP Game. You'll have to do the right choice, if you don't you'll most likely die AGAIN but still you will given a chance again to correct your wrong decision. You'll also have to be fast since your fighting against time, if you fail to reach your target time to change your destiny you'll die and no chances will be given your game will restart where you last saved the game. The story of this game will totally hook you up and finish the game but there are times that the game is becoming boring and tedious because you have to go places that has some long running distance that consumes gaming time a lot. Also in the game you dont have a quest log to look what you should do now and do next so always look at Eike's Journal every start and end of scenarios. And talking some of the people in the game is also a MUST since they contribute to the outcome of each scenario.

The Verdict

Shadow of Destiny on works well as a unique role playing PSP Game although it gets boring at times but you'll still play this game once the story is pushing through. The feature of time travelling to change your destiny is and to avoid death is a cool thing in this game. But still there are some elements in this game I didn't like the lifeless environment, the tedious running and the game itself is short. But overall the game is almost perfect and I recommend this to RPG fans to play this. And this is one of those games that you shouldn't judge a game by its cover.
